Our organisation acknowledges the duty of care to safequard, protect and promote the welfare of vulnerable adults and is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice and CQC requirements.


If the service has any suspicions, information or evidence that any of its service users or our employees are victims of, or at risk of becoming victims of modern slavery, exploitation or forced labour, we will take immediate protective action by alerting the appropriate safeguarding authority or police and apply all safeguarding procedures

 

We ensure that that our recruitment and selection criteria for the appropiate  care staff is thorough and that all care workers are DBS checked. 

We are support the newly recruited care team to understand the health and social care sector by enrolling them for the relevant training and the experienced senior care worker regularly monitoring their performance.
